About the Role You will lead supplier negotiations, develop sourcing strategies, and drive commercial outcomes that deliver value for Compass Group’s operations nationally. Working cross-functionally, you’ll ensure quality, sustainability, and innovation are at the forefront of our sourcing decisions, supporting operational needs while achieving cost leadership. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute category strategies to meet commercial, operational, and sustainability objectives Lead supplier selection, tendering, contract negotiation, and ongoing supplier relationship management Collaborate with culinary, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and service excellence Analyse category performance and implement initiatives to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement Stay informed of market trends, risks, and innovations to inform category development and risk mitigation strategies What you will bring Proven experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain management, preferably within FMCG, food services, or hospitality sectors Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with a track record of delivering cost savings and added value Excellent analytical ability with a data-driven approach to decision-making Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels Tertiary qualifications in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field are highly desirable Why Join Us?
